Content management system is a website built using software that keeps track of every piece of content on your Website. Content such as text, photos, music, video, or just about anything you can think of. The finished dynamic website is divided into two main areas.
Backend:
Is the control panel where you can log-in and changes are made to the website. Only you the site owner will have access to this control panel.
Frontend:
Is the actual website itself. Viewable to the public. Instead of static pages (like in a brochure website) all pages will be dynamic meaning they are controlled by the backend.
A major advantage of using a CMS is that it requires almost no technical skill
or knowledge to manage. Since the CMS manages all your content, you don’t
have to.
Users can log-in and update there websites with ease and create as many pages as they
want.
